Following an enormous physically & mentally challenging schedule for Grading, held on Saturday 19th December 2020, hardened by the strangest and most debilitating period in Modern History, Dion Protheroe, Aalish Hall, Amy Flattery, Brychan Gilson, Louanna Gilson and Stephen Gilson emerged successful, in achieving their Ranks of 1st Dan (Shodan). This is much more than a Milestone, it is a totally new foundation for Shogun and a massive achievement for each individual.

Congratulations to Shögun Chief Instructor Paul Scott, on his long overdue and well-deserved promotion to Rokudan (6th Dan).
Having started his journey way back in 1972, attaining his "Shodan" in 1983, Paul has risen from Student to Chief Instructor, Competitor to International Coach and established himself in many of the Senior positions in Martial Arts, over the past 42 years. He continues relentlessly to steer Shögun along its successful path........
